Survey: How Would Medicaid Cuts Affect Schools and Student Health Services?
January 24, 2025
Medicaid is an essential funding source for physical, behavioral and mental health services provided to children in K-12 schools. If you are a school district leader, administrator or staff member, we invite you to take a short survey about how cuts to Medicaid could affect school health services in your district: https://bit.ly/school-medicaid-survey
Survey results will be used in the aggregate to educate the public, and inform federal and state policymakers on the importance of school Medicaid. No identifying information will be included.
Your response is greatly appreciated! If you have questions about the survey, or about school Medicaid and the proposed cuts, please contact Jessie Mandle, national program director at Healthy Schools Campaign.
This survey is distributed by Healthy Schools Campaign, AASA, Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), National Alliance for Medicaid in Education (NAME) and Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
