The Health services Assessment Tool for Schools, or “HATS” for short, has added a school Medicaid module developed by Healthy Students, Promising Futures. State Medicaid and education agencies, school districts and school health partners can use the self-scoring online tool to review their state’s school Medicaid program and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
