Speakers Announced for the May 2022 HSPF Learning Collaborative Meeting

Healthy Schools Campaign is excited to announce the 12th convening of the Healthy Students, Promising Futures Learning Collaborative, featuring Katherine Neas, U.S. Department of Education deputy assistant secretary, and other guest speakers.

Member state teams in the Healthy Students, Promising Futures Learning Collaborative are invited to a two-day virtual meeting scheduled for May 18-19, 2022.

The program will kick off with a discussion on legislative opportunities to improve student mental health with Mary Moody, health policy advisor for  Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA), and Anthony Theissen, health policy advisor for Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) (invited).

More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks. State team members will have the opportunity to take part in facilitated discussion groups focused on current topics relevant to school Medicaid issues, including parental consent and partnerships with community-based mental health providers.
