The Healthy Students, Promising Futures Learning Collaborative came together for a two-day virtual meeting May 18-19. The meeting highlighted White House and Congressional efforts to strengthen the school Medicaid program — in part to address the growing mental health crisis affecting youth.

The 10th convening of the Healthy Students, Promising Futures Learning Collaborative featured Bechara Choucair, White House Vaccinations Coordinator, and Mayra Alvarez, president of The Children’s Partnership and member of the Biden-Harris COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force.

More than 100 individuals attended the December 2020 Healthy Students, Promising Futures Learning Collaborative meeting, including representatives from 18 states, three federal agencies and more than a dozen national partner organizations.
