The HSPF Learning Collaborative currently has 20 participating state teams (see sidebar), some of which have participated since 2016 and others that joined more recently. New teams are accepted on a rolling basis.
Core team members usually include representatives from school districts and state education and Medicaid agencies. Teams can also include representatives from other state agencies such as public health, and from community/advocacy organizations and school health provider associations.
HSPF staff also provide individualized support and technical assistance to states that are not part of the Learning Collaborative. To learn more about resources available for your state, contact Jessie Mandle, the national program director.
